Membership

Membership is open to any person who expresses an interest in Masonic libraries or museums. 

Institutional membership is open to any Masonic body considered "regular" by most Grand Lodges in the United States. 

If you are involved with a Masonic library or museum, you can benefit from sharing ideas and questions with others charged with the care of Masonic collections.  MLMA is the group for you!  WELCOME!

Types of Membership

Regular Member

An individual who has an interest in Masonic libraries or museums and is eligible to vote and hold office in the MLMA, receive MLMA Newsletters and minutes of MLMA meetings.

Annual Dues: $30.00

Affiliate Member

An individual who has an interest in Masonic libraries or museums and is NOT eligible to vote or hold office in the MLMA, but receives copies of the MLMA Newsletters and minutes of MLMA meetings.

Annual Dues: $15.00

Institutional Member

An organization, such as a Grand Lodge or other Masonic entity, which is considered by most U.S. Grand Lodges to be Masonically "regular," and which maintains or supports a Masonic library or museum .

The organization desires to become an Institutional Member of the MLMA, and pays dues and is entitled to a number of votes at MLMA meetings according to the following schedule:

Amount spent by the institution each year for its Masonic library and/or museum

Number of votes to which the institution will be entitled at MLMA meetings
